Fuck that's a lot of money to stake for such low odds, nicely done though.

Actually 1.35 is on the high end for me. :p Most of my bets are like these.

eeek, easy money when it wins but upsets happen, I take it you're confident you'll win more than 10ish for every 1 loss at such low odds?

No. lol I just don't lose. I mean if you looked at all my bets that are over $1000 stake at odds below 1.50, I haven't lost any of the 30 odd I've put on. Back when I used to do it, I was betting pretty much every cent in my bankroll. When I won, I'd bet all of it again and so on. Exponential growth and all that. I couldn't afford to lose. I can now but I don't even think about it. I just pick my moments with extreme care.

Had 2 grand on the Dogs +13.5 at $1.11. Thought it would be a piss easy wager. At 14-0 down I knew the footy gods just wanted to see me sweat. :p Got there in the end though. Honestly, can the teams I bet on please stop going down two tries in the first 20 minutes before actually turning up and making me sweat for no reason? lol.

Just make sure you keep $3000 aside for me.

You don't believe these bets are real anyway, old man Fy.

Yeah first time I've ever followed a bet properly and it won. Saw MF hitting the Dogs with 2k so hit them with a $60 to win and $20 +7.5 which both won so cheers MF!

Yeah I backed the dogs to win outright but they made me sweat for it haha. Also, had Jackson to make more than 31.5 tackles. Piss easy money since they reduced it from last week because he didn't make many tackles but the bookies are too dumb to realise that he made like 20 in the first half and the only reason he made barely any tackles in the second half was because Stanley got injured and he moved to the centres. I knew 80 mins in 2nd row and he would clear that easily.

What!? Thought it was a done deal! Are you reneging on that?

    Bock bock bock begawk!!!!!!!!

Bloody ridiculous amounts to bet on sports btw MF. Either you've got more money than sense or you're bullshitting.

(And given you've told us you don't work, and are probably on some sort of benefit or living off an inheritance or something, I bet the Aussie taxpayers (or your parents) are really thrilled with the way you are spending their hard-earned money...tsk)

Well considering he's never lost these big bets it's been a pretty good investment/ way to spend his money. His big bets all seem to be relatively low risk so it's really no different than any other investment out there albeit a lot better return rate.

Er no, I'm not reneging. Your comment that I need to remember to save 3k is irrelevant if you don't think the bet, on which you were commenting, actually took place.

He might have been lucky so far but will come unstuck soon. Both you guys need to go to Gamblers Anonymous tbh...before you lose everything. That's my only advice.

What are you talking about? I assumed we had a deal. Now you're reneging obv. Poor form.

I don't normally bet on sport. Absolute mugs game. But I'll be happy to take some of your money, (given you've given me better odds than betting agencies) or pay out if I have to.

lol, okay then mate. Thanks for telling me my business. Most people on here know I came from an illicit career and have become legit. I recently tried my hand at an electrical apprenticeship and was doing quite well. Alas I decided it wasn't for me (I'm just not cut-out for a boiling hot workshop; I worked for a company that built switchboards for Coles, Woolworths, 7-11 etc.) I don't claim any benefits, I don't sponge off anyone. I have plenty of money in the bank because I'm reasonably sensible and I can afford to bet high amounts. It's just a hobby until I start a proper, actually useful degree at uni next year.

Luck - maybe (don't really buy it) but I'd imagine he's got a bankroll and that's all he'd be losing - a portion of that which is probably mainly profits anyway.

I don't see why I should be going to Gamblers Anonymous? Please elaborate why I should  is it because I'm closing in on $2k profit for the year so far? starting out with a smallish bank roll which is physically impossible for me to lose in the next year or so at least....

Obviously you're forgetting that you once said none of these bets I've posted are real. That's what I'm referring to you goose. Our bet is most definitely still on.
