Not sure why you'd choose to receive first. Surely on percentages you receive the ball in a better position in the second set than you would the first.
That was one of the cuntiest games of footy I've ever watched, start to finish nonsense for both sides.
You don't think there was separation after he first touched the ball or you don't think you have to catch it after separation?
Bit of justice there. Even though they didn't get the call Ennis is having a fair bit of luck with his little last play grubber this season.
No I don't. There's not a frame that shows clear seperation so you cannot overturn the on field decision. Case closed.
I don't think there was true separation. It separated from his wrist a bit, but part of his hand was in contact with the ball the entire time.
I'd say no separation imo and absolutely no conclusive evidence so definitely a try. Wouldn't of minded another look at the onside though, looked a touch in front.
I'm with Magic to an extent. Right result happened though. Canberra have lost 3 games by one point either in last minute or golden point at home this year. Absolute killer.
It never should've gotten to that point anyway. When Cronulla got that scrum at the end for the knock down by the Raiders player, whoever dived on it was offside and it should've been a penalty right in front to Cronulla a minute before the no try for Fifita happened
Such a crack addict response, look dude we understand we beat the roosters twice this year, but if you want to be taken seriously, you cannot say that was overturned.
The crack addict response is those who can't tell the difference between the white backdrop and the white ball. Separation is clear. And yes all Roosters fans wish our club was more like Cronulla, we talk about it often but don't tell anyone.
I really can't stand Klein as a ref he is a fucktard and should not see first grade for a long time. The reffing throughout the whole game was horrendous for both sides. It's as if they gave the penalty at the end as a square up for the calls that went our way in the last 5-10 mins of the game after realising their fuck ups.
The refereeing was shocking but not convinced it's just a Klein thing. I've really struggled to follow a lot of the calls over the last couple of weeks, I think there might be a conscious effort from the refs to try and clean up the ruck before the finals series. They're doing a shit job at it because there's no consistency but seems to be a lot more ruck infringement penalties over the past few weeks.
