It sounds like Furball was at a disadvantage there by not knowing about Mousey's role while Mousey did know about another Vader. So Furball played down the wrong line by claiming the Light, it just makes it sound like he'll screw Luke over. Probably would've been better tp just be straight and offer the Dark side and all its glories.
If Luke had chosen me I was bussing the Emperor and outing myself as 'Anakin Skywalker'. Would have been so gun.
The disadvantage was intentional. The chances of Luke turning to the Dark side should be minimal. However Darth Vader also had much better odds of finding Luke as he had help wheras Mousey was left with the choice of searching or stopping Vader.
Logan was alright - but his claim was pisspoor... the only thing that he really did badly. He should have been lynched long before he was though imo
Haha Luke did turn Vader, unfortunately the good and evil in him were represented by two players so we wouldn't have you giving up the entire QT when you turned.
Yeah my assumption was that Luke was essentially the same as me but with an opposite win condition and that I could be turned to the light.
I thought Logan played his own game quite well, his claim was very poor and his 'instincts' about Skippos and a few other things were off base. But he was fairly valuable to mafia all in all. Mafia really needed an inventive play of some kind after losing so many so early. Baiting out a Wedge Antilles claim and then ccing it to lead a mislynch would have probably got them close to victory.
Nah his dealings with Skippos were dumb. Kept wanting us to kill him when he could have played Skippos at his own game.
Yeah I provided as little guidance as possible in the post to provide the natural advantage the light should have in this situation. You were unfortunate that Mousey really put a lot of effort into his post. I doubt many would have been as thorough as he was.
Losing Ritchie early on was quite a blow as well. His night kill took out anyone visiting the target as well which would have been so useful at times.
I dont think it would ever have worked because we had Tart watched visiting Howe every night. Without anything bad happening to Howe it would have just resulted in Logan dyng
@Athlai I probably spent about half an hour on the code? I was playing LoL games when it was posted so I didn't actually spend all the time from when it was posted to when I posted in the thread about my efforts. It's pretty quick to go through all the basic ciphers and it seemed like it was a substitution cipher with a catch. I didn't notice the b in all the the words though :fp: I actually had guessed that the 'Xbspsahva Zbolvjz' part was Galactic Empire but the letters didn't match up :fp: It was well done by Heef
In Episode VI there's this weird dynamic between the two and they almost exist independently of everything else that's going on. I was hoping the two of us could potentially be almost neutral and pick sides accordingly.
This is the main place in which it would have been really useful. Howe was clearly going to be getting some kind of protection and watched and so to take all three out we had to have three kills (only every other night) and have them all come off, otherwise we were a bit fucked there.
Yeah it's certainly an idea, one of the main things I wanted to do with this game was make the Force less of a dominant aspect to the game and put a bit more subterfuge in the game.
It was quite unfortunate that the only person you killed with Ritchie's ability was an identity that revealed itself to others on death.
