    Match in progress - Burridge/O'Driscoll vs. Rhodes/Weaver

    Kiwi pairing Jonty Rhodes and Gareth Weaver have claimed the first set of their doubles final against New South Wales team Morgan Burridge and Alex O'Driscoll.

    In a one-sided start to the match, the New Zealanders came out of the blocks firing as they attacked the Burridge serve right from the start - capitalising with a break of serve for a 1-0 lead.

    The misery was compounded in O'Driscoll's service game as a powerful backhand from Weaver was directed right at Burridge at the net to set up a 3-0 lead, that was then consolidated by the 23-year old on serve.

    While the NSW duo got on the board in the next game, the big serve of Rhodes was causing them all sorts of trouble as he notched up his fourth ace of the set, before O'Driscoll was broken again in the next game to end a horror set for the Aussies, as Rhodes/Weaver took the opener 6-1.
