Thanks tips, that still doesn't mean that pushing the marker is "provocation". It is an action that is as common as muck in rugby league and if you consider it provocation enough for a fight then you're an extraordinarly thin-skinned individual.

You are, without doubt, the most retarded person on this forum.

I really do think that Gallen should have got at least 10 in the bin. If Myles had have just fallen over and played dead, he would have got sent.

Around the time of the fight? I heard some guy jumped the fence, when the fight happened, and tackled the QLD mascot :lol:

A push is the most common way to start a fight, of course it's provocation. If you dont consider it to be provocation then are you also suggesting that Gallen would have thrown those punches regardless of being pushed or not?

You're arguing whether the action justified the reaction, not whether a push can be interpreted as a provocation.

Poor attempt at trolling, just give up already.

A push is definitely considered a provocation but that doesn't licence Gallen's reaction. As we see from the poll, everyone with something between the ears knew it was a sin binning.

Had a bloke in at work today saying Gal should be gone for 8-10 matches.
But it should only count for origins, so he can play for cronulla next week, but not play origin for the next 3 or 4 years.
    Most retarded dude ever.

 Says the person whose only RL-related comments are intentionally idiotic/sarcastic in what I can only presume is an attempt to draw a reaction from other posters.

Pretty sure that's exactly what he just did what that post.

Love how Gal burned Tallis on the footy show.

Yeah and that really should be the issue. Just arguing whether a push constitutes provocation is pointless. Basically any action can be taken as "provocation" if people want it to be. Staring down someone can be viewed as provocation but I don't think we'd be having this debate at all if Myles glowered at Gallen instead of shoving him. Provocation by its nature is linked to the action that (potentially) follows it. There are different levels of provocation and what Myles did was absolutely garden variety stuff that happens multiple times every game.

Never said Jennings wasn't I just Tate was a bigger dog shot. Difference being one instance in a brawl and one instance is a simple tackle.

Both dangerous none the less. ;)

See it's all opinion. No need to call people stupid, ya stupid cunt.

The Tate one was in a brawl, IIRC.

The whole of Origin from kick off until the full-time siren should be treated as a brawl IMO.

What ever he down and defenceless.

Gal was going on about how him and Myles had heated words after the Jennings try and how Myles had recently twisted his knee and then he Myles pushed him and Gal decided that was it so he punched him.

Then Gordon comes in and says the reason he pushed you was because you came in from a swinging arm. Gal then replies saying you don't see the NSW boys getting up and pushing him after he headbutts them.

    Shut Tallis right up.
