    Ba to Chelsea confirmed.

  2. bigfudge CS Larkin

Stupid move on his behalf I reckon

  3. Himannv LV Himann

Agreed. I doubt he'll get much game time beyond this season. Also, I doubt he'd fit in well in that system.

  4. Eds E Ames

He's at his peak, and is actually good enough to play CL football right now. Plus Torres is Chelsea's only striker.

  5. Himannv LV Himann

Piazon and Moses can both play as strikers if needed. I agree that Ba is probably a better choice than either of them though.

  6. Cevno IV Narang

He didn't want to play as a Wing forward at Newcastle but reckon he'll do it at Chelsea if required.

Big fish in small pond vs Small fish in Big pond etc...

Also, Torres is their only other proper striker and he isn't that great anymore. In terms of CL clubs in the top leagues it was probably his best choice and his wages are awesome too.

Chelsea are sure to sign a striker in the summer and Lukaku will be back by then. They may not need him once this season is over.

  8. Cevno IV Narang

Was linked pretty heavily with United when he left Chelsea.

    Thankfully, didn't get him.

Injuries happened and fitness levels dropped after that.

  9. Cevno IV Narang

He should be ahead of Lukaku, and if they buy a top striker then i can see Torres leaving.

  10. Eds E Ames

Why would they sign a striker? What's that based on?

  11. Himannv LV Himann

They've been linked with a striker for ages. Mostly Falcao recently.

I suppose they may settle for Ba and Torres, but somehow I doubt it.

  12. Eds E Ames

Well they've just bought Ba, and Torres has started to come good, and they have Lukaku coming through. They don't need another one...

Debuchey joins Newcastle, good signing and they are after Remy.

    Arsenal and Spurs after Holtby.

    Pato to Corinthians.

And Robinho seems to be heading to Santos.

Interesting trend this of Brazillian players who haven't reached their potential moving back to Brazil early.

What's up with Milan though ? Barca will beat them black and blue at this rate.

    Liverpool FC

  16. SuperNova SJ Nova

Chamakh (spelling?) to West Ham on loan.

    Carroll, Cole, Chamakh.....Downing next please

  17. mouse MJ Edwards

I'm not too bothered if Downing stays or goes to be honest.

  18. Frizzed WC Welker

You genuinely find it interesting that they are going back to their home country ?

  19. Cevno IV Narang

Before they used to go after being completely washed out, so it's interesting that they are doing it earlier these days.

I guess due to Brazilian economy growing they are getting paid more, but it's a interesting trend definitely.

Also the next World Cup is there.
