I rate Spurs as equal to (if not higher) Chelsea at the moment, but in saying that, I also think that Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelski will all be competing in a tense battle for 3rd. Look at the key positions and Spurs have in form/capable players eg. Scott Parker, Rafa v.d.Vaart, Adebayor, Bale, Friedel shores up weaknesses that Gomes and Cudicini left them exposed to, while King has been superb at Centre Back this season. On the other hand Chelsea are a bit of a Dad's army and bar a bit of magic from players like Mata and Sturridge have been exposed this season. They weren't competitive at Old Trafford, have been very complacent ad lacked consistency in the key areas where Spurs have played well.
Barton started calling out the cunts from the only way is essex yesterday, mainly because they are gigantic bellends #teambarton
Sif Liverpool will finish top four dropping points to teams like Norwich, Swansea and Sunderland at home.
I think we'll finish 6th this season My predictions for the top 6 1. Man Utd 2. Man City 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. Spurs 6. Liverpool Sorry Newcastle fans, can't see you breaking into the top 6 even with your excellent start. Probably finish mid-table
I just don't see City losing the top spot, after years and years of being the $$$ club it's surely going to pay off, plus the team is gelling very very well and the depth is world class and not just that, the whole squad plays well whenever they are on the pitch. 1. City 2. United 3.Chelsea 4.Spurs 5.Toon 6.Pool 7.Aresnal.
Anybody been following Joey Barton vs the cast of TOWIE? Quote so far... "Is your sister still collecting footballers like panini stickers?"

Fifa has again rejected the Football Association's request for the England team to wear poppies on their shirts during Saturday's game against Spain. The FA had asked for permission to wear poppies to support Remembrance Day. But Fifa said: "Such initiatives would open the door to similar initiatives from all over the world, jeopardising the neutrality of football." Football's world governing body decrees that shirts should not carry political, religious or commercial messages. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15643295.stm I can understand why they've rejected it. If they let England have the poppy then they've got to allow other countries to show other symbols as well. And when you think of some countries such as Serbia etc, there's potential that it could get out of hand for FIFA It's a major shame but I can understand the reasoning.
Paul Hayward made a decent comment on it The FA will never have a bigger open goal than to keep the poppies on England's shirts and dare Fifa to levy a fine on respect for the dead. Theyd get loads of support from the normal fan if they just manned up against the shunts of fifa and did it anyway
