    The Cerebral Assassin was worried. Having been through the wars with the Big Red Machine many times previously, he knew what an asset Kane would have been to the WWE. But Kane had been taken out, and a valuable weapon in the WWF's arsenal had been lost. Upon entering the locker room he was greeted by a familiar face, and he smiled upon recognising his long-time good friend.

    He never saw the attack coming. The boot to the gut was swiftly followed by a jacknife powerbomb, which sent him crashing through the nearby dressing table. He might have been known as "the Game", but it was game over for him.

    Uppercut has been taken out. He was HHH.

    The Rock had seen enough, there had already been enough carnage caused, and the time was ripe to launch the counter attack. Locating his target in the ring, he charged down the ramp and delivered a devastating spinebuster to his foe, slamming him against the canvas. He looked down at his victim sprawled out beneath him, and removed his elbow pad. Casting it aside, he ran across the ring, bouncing from one set of ropes to another. He stopped, and braced himself for impact as he prepared to deliver the people's elbow to his nearly vanquished enemy.

    His elbow, however, never connected with the target. Rock crashed to the floor, hitting only the ring mat, and looked up in a daze to see his target being ushered away to the backstage area by an athletic figure attired in red, white and blue, and another rotund individual with a large posterior.

    It says 'launch the counterattack' so without placing too much emphasis in the writeup wouldn't that suggest the rock picked correctly?
    just his target was docced and nursed?

    I'm not mafia. Perfectly happy to tell everyone what I've been up to. As I confirmed n0, I visited Uppercut. n1, I visited Mousey. Neither of whom should have been negatively impacted by my visit and secondly has provided me with useful information about both. I can confirm that Mousey is neither Mafia nor 3rd party, for example. I do know more, but I suspect it's not ideal to share some of that information.

    Personally, I think you're reading far too much into the word 'counterattack' - I can't see how that implies that the Rock picked correctly, more so that the person thought he was picking the right character. To me, that's really drawing a long bow from some write-up flavour.

    I'm gonna throw this one back at Quaggas and ask why he thought it was worth taking me out in the first place? Could it me that the Rock has been turned as that's a pretty random attempted vigilante hit.

    Are you not claiming the Rock and saying that the Rock targetted me? If you are, then it seems pretty clear from the same write-up flavour that 'counterattack' has been taken from, that you were trying to take me out.

    Or are you saying you watched The Rock visit me?
