Biography Formerly known as Jackson Kaufusi or Lipina Kaufusi, Makasini Richter played 24 games for Wests Tigers from 2001 to 2002 as a winger.

In 2004 Makasini joined the Bulldogs and became a regular member of the Premier League team but did not complete the season due to injury.

In 2005, Makasini was a regular member of the Premier League team and broke Hasan Saleh's 2000 record for the most tries in a reserve grade season, with 20 tries from 20 appearances.

He received the opportunity to play in the NRL against Newcastle when Luke Patten and Trent Cutler were injured and Hazem El Masri moved from wing to fullback. Makasini returned to the Premier League to play in the Qualifying Semi-Final against the Roosters.


In 2006, Makasini joined Western Suburbs to play in the Premier League.
