Being in a pair won't guarantee you a side. It's not just about having 2 people for the sake of 2 people. If one of them has dire cricket knowledge they may as well not be there. There a people with applications by themselves that I feel would be better at this than some/most of the applications with 2+ people.
If people want to pair up I think that's fine, but it seems you've been encouraging it and telling people they'd be in with a better chance if they had two, which is wrong IMO. I bet you have applications from pairs who'd rather go it alone, both of whom actually could do so without having shithouse picks. Anyway, \_/, not a huge issues, just thought I'd put my 2c in.
That wasn't my intention. It was probably how I conveyed it but it was meant to be for those who might not possibly make the cut by themselves. If people would rather not be in a pair then they can change their minds.
Yeah, thats what I was more getting at. It seemed to be hinted that having a partner would almost sure up selection. So I was just gonna choose someone for the sake of it.
Having had a look at the applications, I retract my insane rant. I was under the impression that everyone was in pairs or groups but it looks pretty much perfect as it is.
