    Playing Doom 3 atm.

    Bought it over a year ago but never got round to playing it for one reason or another. Now that I have a few days off school with the flu, I am getting right into it.

    ****ing dropped my nuts like 2 mins into the game when the scientist gets taken away by the flames and the zombies come out. I'd hate to see what happens later on in the game when the demons start spawning.

    yeah back in the day tat game used to scare the shit out of me, something about having to walk around with a flashlight knowing that as soon as you see something for a split 2nd you will be unarmed. apparently they brought out a patch that had a torch ontop of one of the guns but i never got to play it and imo it would take most of the fun out of the game.

    Yeah. I think that's one of the biggest parts of the game, the fact that the flashlight is seperate from the gun. The whole game is pretty much in darkness so you have to rely on the flashlight to see, but also you have to rely on your reflexes to switch quickly from the flashlight to a shotgun or SMG.

    Up to Mars City atm, the 3rd level. Plowing through the armed and unarmed zombies and encountered a few of those Imps already.

    Did you ever end up finishing it, Stiz?

    na i never got right to the end, i can barely remember the game i haven't played it in about 4 years but i remember i was about halfway when i had to reformat and never felt like starting again.
