Matt Utai average with ball in hand, ok buddy.

  2. Patmania A Johnson

No you're right, he's great in attack which is why he's been in first grade all year over Idris and Josh Morris. Even Millard was put in ahead of Utai.

    Now that's sarcasm.

  3. Howsie DP Howell

Last time I checked Idris, Morris and Millard were all centres. Why would Utai play FG ahead of those guys?

Goodwin has been very good on the wing, so Utai hasn't been able to break in. Moore must rate him highly if he was trying to fit him into the team by putting him in the forwards. He surely wasn't picked to play in the forwards to make tackles, so why was he picked again.

Utai was picked to play centre this week before Goodwin was suspended.

You've contradicted yourself a fair bit throughout this thread. In your first post you said "Not with Matty Utai back in the team anyway", but then you say you were being sarcastic. So you think Utai is shit?

Next you say he's been playing shit in the forwards this year. Wait, I thought he had great attacking ability? I sure didn't see it.

Goodwin, Hazem, Idris, Morris, Patten, Millard > Utai.

You have /failed and I'm off for the night.

Goodwin was never going to play this week, everyone knew that. Utai isn't as good as he used to be but he is still a very handy player. How you can say he has always been average amazes me. His attack has always been very good.

He was shit in the forwards, what's wrong with me saying that. Moore figured that it wasn't working so he dropped him. His game wasn't suited to it. It doesn't mean his attack was bad.

Competely agreed. The Warriors are at home and the Bulldogs are missing half their first team. Although the Warriors really aren't as good as I rated them early in the season, they should still be able to win efficiently against a Bulldogs team without several key players at home.

Yeah nowadays he is, you're right. Obviously he wasn't that bad 3 years ago, but who else are you going to pick now that both Morris and Goodwin are not going to play?

Hey man, I like Millard. I think he's a highly underrated centre and I would go so far as to say he's probably more effective than Idris in attack, and most definitely in defence.

Idris is big and will smash smaller opponents, but Millard is a much better finisher. More class about him.

AWTA, but it isn't anymore which is why he is in reserve grade, where he belongs. He's only getting called up because of the absence of Morris and Goodwin.

    Correct.

  7. Howsie DP Howell

Millard more effective in attack then Idris, are you sure about that one. Millard is just an average centre, he doesn't really have anything exciting about him. Idris on the other hand can create things out of nothing, plus he is so good under the high ball.

  8. Hybrid A Kolar

It's not always about being exciting and creating something out of nothing. Millard does a centre's job extremely well and is very solid when going about it. Definitely unsung about his abilities IMO.

His not bad, but you would still have Idris over him right?

I thought Millard was pretty good in 2007, but that might have had something to do with SBW being inside him all year. He had a good game against the Storm, he actually showed some pace.

Depends on who I was playing, but I think Idris is severely overrated for where he's currently at. Idris is still young and will probably become a far superior centre to Millard, but at the moment I'd rather have Millard because he is safe, solid and does the job necessary.

  14. Howsie DP Howell

One of the better halfbacks in the Under 20's, that's for sure.

  15. morgieb MC Burridge

Warriors leading 4-0, slow game FTL.

Howd the referee not award a repeat set for the Warriors before, a joke ****ing decision.

That bad decision was nothing compared to the two forward passes that went about 2m forward in the U20s game that was let go.

Warriors were at home with a near full squad and were playing against a Bulldogs side with SEVEN (yes, that's right SEVEN) players missing - Kimmorley, Ennis, Hannant, Warburton, Morris, Goodwin and Idris - and not only that, but the Warriors had a lot of reserve graders playing, with a halves combination of Holdsworth-Roberts. Yet the Warriors still couldn't beat them.

    Disgraceful.

    What was the score??
