    Vaughn's gone beyond Owen Wilson, he's down at Luke Wilson level I'd say, his last few movies have been absolute garbage. Reckon he'll be ok in this, as will the other actors and that's all it'll be, a decent show but not great like season 1.

    I thought that trailer was good, and that Farrell and McAdams look almost too perfect in their roles. Hard to say too much from that trailer, obviously, but I'm keen.

    Mentioned in the TV show thread, but fuck me the ending of season 1 is a huge let down. The season was like having sex with what you thought was a 10, and later you find out it was a transexual. Story aside, the acting and cinematography was top notch. Matthew McConaughey when he was all drugged up and undercover at the end of episode 4 was the highlight.

    Heard S2 was really shit, so will probably not watch it. Vince Vaughan in a non-comedy role is unwatchable too, he's horrendous in "serious" roles.

    Yeah I agree with your summation of season 1. It's still great television but the finale was a massive, massive let down. The worst thing is the writers came out and quashed all of the conspiracies (which they'd set up) as to what was going to happen before the ending was even aired.

    Like the whole thing with Marty's daughter is just so open ended it isn't funny.
