    By the time you guys develop a side to challenge Griff would have been 31/32 and half the player he is now. You've cashed in pick 6 (which in this draft is going to net you a B grader at best) + 3-4 years of Griffen for someone who'd be pick 1 in this draft by a mile.

    To put it in perspective, if Boyd were born in '96 and eligible for this draft, I'd have him so far ahead at pick 1 that I probably would prefer him to picks 2 AND 3.

    GWS wins imo.

    He was always going to leave and this way they get an A grader and high draft pick. Already have KPP depth.

    Sort of hoping Boyd never lives up to the hype now to screw the Dogs over for the huge deal. Buddy had to play 9 years to get that sort of money.

    Some rumours that Biggs -> WB and Hallahan -> Gold Coast.

    Also, Harper to be the steak knifes in the Cooney deal, if that counts.

    There'll always be a few surprise ones on D-Day concerning nobodies as well.
