If they don't think McIlwrick is ready yet and they don't want to move Berrigan for whatever reason surely they can try something other than Waddell though. They'd be better off letting Buttriss play 80, or using Sam Williams as a dummy half, or using McCrone as a dummy half when Williams came on - or something. Options other than Waddell have to be explored, no matter what they are. I honestly don't think he's even NSW Cup standard; he is a terrible player. Buttriss was crap tonight as well actually but Waddell was in his own league of shitness, as per usual. Also good to see Harrison put him his customarily disgraceful defensive effort too. Papalli went okay up the middle in the defence in Fensom's absence actually but that it meant Harrison started and played long minutes really fucked you over; Ellis owned him.
The televised game I caught of the mounties? he came off the bench. Bought him in NNRL assuming by now he surely would've been given a go but he can't even get a start in reserve grade? Very promising player from what I saw of him in the 20's.

It's bizarre when you look at Canberra's hooker situation. They must have cash there somewhere, meanwhile there are cunts who are quality players in Premier League/QCup/TC who are 2-3 times the player Waddell is. Beau Faloon is a classic example. Struggled to find a club, yet was thrown a lifeline by the Titans I think and is chilling in reggies, I rate him tbh.
Faloon would have been their starting hooker this season IMO, killed it in the trials this season for them, carty gave him huge wraps and then he got injured in the last trial, torn pec iirc. So so unlucky, he was one of my favourites for Souths.
Iosefa and mcilwrick play for Mounties. Both better than the first grade options from what I've seen.
Nah Buttriss, crap as he was yesterday, is definitely better than Iosefa IMO. Don't know enough about McIlwrick to make the call.
