    Shane Vendrell is seriously one of the best characters from any TV show, ever.
    Apparently he wants to do an Australian movie set back in the early 1900's, and his other one is going to be a Vega brothers movie combining the 2 from Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs.

    Michael Madsen and John Travolta are pretty washed up now. It would have been great to see them both in those roles back in the mid 90s though.

    So i setup my home theatre system in my room a couple of weeks ago and caught up on a lot of movies. Saw revenant, hateful eight, creed, despicable me, the walk last week. They were all good. That Rocky theme towards the end in creed.:fap:

    Both characters died. Would need to be recast with young actors, and show what drove Vincent to Amsterdam and what put Victor in prison.

    I saw Spotlight last night. It was really interesting to see how a small group of journalists in Boston attempted to expose the Catholic Church for protecting pedophiles.

    Limitless was on TV, so I watched that tonight. I thought the considerably darker and more serious tone it presented was more appropriate than its TV spin-off, which is often light-hearted and at times just plain silly.

    Sort of agree but I really enjoy all of his films, even Jackie Brown.

    Kill Bill 1 & 2 were brilliant for mine.

    It's since then that it's slid a tad I reckon.

    Well, I ended up watching Hateful 8. It was pretty good. Tim Roth is fantastic as always, Kurt Russell was great and Goggins too. I am a big fan of Madsen usually, one of the best Tarantino characters in Reservoir Dogs, but he was pretty shitty in this one.

    The chick was very impressive. Never heard of her before. Even SLJ was really good, most of his performances of late have been terrible. He always delivers for Tarantino though.

    Even Channing Tatum was good in his 5 or 10 minutes.

    The movie had a bit over the top with violence though...just way too over the top. Couldn't we get a single death without a head or something exploding?

    Watched a ton of movies on planes recently. (10 flights in a month). Some of the better ones were:

    Everest (Emily Watson did the best kiwi accent I have heard from a British or American actor) 8/10

    The Gift - Excellent 9/10

    The Visit - Pretty good for an M. Night Shylaman movie actually. 7/10
