I mean seriously, a town didn't kill a Barksdale this game. Just won because of different Mafia factions taking each other out and 3rd party helping them.
This is what I would have done tbph. I actually wanted Cabinet to win, but I thought the game would continue if I lynched Blunder because there were still 3 votes left in the game.
Remaining players - Blunder as Ed Norris At the point where Teja was getting lynched I thought this was one of the worst games I'd ever modded, and when it finished I thought it was on of the best. Day 4 was brilliant. Town pulling a joint win after having 2/7 players was quite remarkable, though Heef deciding to townside was the biggest thing.
Surely you tried to kill me though? I felt a bit bad about Captain until I remembered he was trying to get you guys to kill me.
That night we originally planned for Hedger to kill you, me to play innocent (maybe say I saw someone visit you, Captian probably), then we changed it for me to kill Captain when he said he was going to kill me, purely in the "if we're not going to win, lets not let him" sense. Then we changed last minute back to original plan when he started talking again. Presumably Omar's kill just went first and cancelled out Hedger's kill.
Crucial bit was Ava getting Avon though. We could've won the next day because he had a day time sniper. Hit Heath and we have 50% of the lynch vote there. Hedger was always a bit suss.
Nah, we had no idea who the Barksdales were. I had my suspicions though and hoped that showing a baddie that was against the Teja lynch would clear the bandwagon at the end. I actually worked out Hedger was a Barksdale based on the fact that he lied about Furball's ability, but Howe said he just read it wrong, so I don't know if Hedger just fucked up. But yeah, I gambled that you guys would let me live the night and not expose the lie about my ability/wouldn't have checked me yet, and I was going to nail Hedger anyway. Still not sure why Hedger just made up a random ability for me though, unless he didn't check me out?
We'd have lost more heavily if it had gone through though, ironically. In a way winning with you helping after we tried to kill you would've been a bit underserved, but Town didn't exactly deserve it either. Blunder was the only town player who had a good game. Teacups kind of did I guess, his lynching was seriously awful play.
Captain pretending to maf side was the funniest thing. He had decided to kill hedger, and hedger was going to try to kill Heef. If Captain had said nothing this would have worked out great for him. Instead, he tried to guarantee his own survival by saying he's going to kill Cabinet, who he thinks is town. Since Cabinet is actually Mafia, this makes the maf change their order to killing captain. Since maf kills have priority this would have stopped hedger from dying and lead to a 2-2-1 day five. Just when I was about to post that I accidentally restarted my laptop, during which time the maf changed their mind again to killing Heef, which they couldn't, so hedger died. Then Heef lunches captain anyway for pretending to townside.
Hah, he did check you out. I just assumed he was telling the truth Tbh killing you would always be more preferable to Town because you had a night kill.
He could protect himself if he successfully lynched people using his power. Basically he was useless for the first three or so days and uber powerful at the end.
