Such stupid offloads at the end that led to the Sharks penalty. Burns offloaded it and Penriff barely recovered, and then Weston I think? offloaded it and handed it over. Should have been able to hold on if they'd just played smart/disciplined.
That is probably why we lost it too. No where near enough discipline. Had we been more disciplined I doubt the Sharks would have scored at least one of their tries.
Sooo stupid from the Panthers, 8-10mins to go, coming out of their half and every cunt is trying to offload on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd tackles. It's the sort of shit that deserves to lose games. Cleary still got them going well though, to be 2/5 and having 3 competitive losses is over achieving so far imo. Will be interesting to see how they go up against some of the better sides of the competition though.
They've had the easiest draw of all time to start the season; if they had any hope of making the eight they should've been at least 3/5 to start the season, if not 4/5. It's not going to get any easier.
I know they've had it easy. I thought they would've been pumped a couple of times and maybe won one. Pre season I genuinely couldn't see them being as competitive as they have been, never mind winning 2.
They'd manage to come back and get a lead, all they needed to do was complete there set and get to the kick and defend and they would've won. Instead they got carried away and forced balls unnecessarily as if they were down by 8 points.
Well it shouldn't happen against any team in the comp, you play catch up footy when you need to catch up.
