    During the main season everyone is the enemy (unless they're playing Parramatta). During the finals if Penrith aren't in it I back another side.

    2nd team = I support them if they're playing someone other than my team, and as long as them winning isn't gonna hurt my team (keeping them out of finals etc)

    I don't mind it. The biggest problem are fans like Cribb though who don't back their club. The fact that the Magpies are affiliated with the Tigers should be enough.

    I'm Penrith first and then support whoever is playing Tigers, Dragons or Storm.

    Also got a bit of a soft spot for Parra and the Sharkies, mainly because they're so hopeless.

    Though on second thoughts if the Broncos merged with Manly, I think the Storm, Cowboys or Titans would likely be a more attractive team to align with.

    Supporting another team once yours has been knocked out of finals is fine, will never be as passionate about that team as your own team though.

    In terms of club football I think it's pisspoor to ditch your actual team, but I completely understand why some are torn in terms of nationality.

    It's Manly and if they're not playing then I don't really care. I'll only cheer for another team if the result helps my side or if they're playing Parramatta or Souths. During the finals series I'd prefer seeing the best performed team over the whole season win if Manly aren't participating. Unless of course if it's Brisbane, as their supporters are annoying enough as it is.

    I never really had an AFL club, I just supported the closest geographical team until I felt a pull to one - which I hadn't until awhile ago.

    I'll back the Titans exclusively, but i have a couple of players who i enjoy/follow, so i tend to keep an eye on that team, hope that X player does well (Wade Graham this season, so i sorta supported the Sharks a bit i guess

    I'm primarily a Rabbitohs supporter, i've hated the actual players generally but I am passionate for the club my love of gallen makes me support Sharks unless they play Souths.

    Definitely disagree with that. Newcastle are now out, and the only thing I want now is that Manly don't win. And if they get knocked out it'll be that Brisbane doesn't win. And then Melbourne. It's pretty natural to support an underdog or anyone playing a team you dislike.
