Nah. Can't see it tbh. They'll most likely have to go to Durban next week. Then the Waratahs in the Semis and either the Saders, Highlanders, Brumbies, Force in the finals.

That is one long haul for the Chiefs. Personally I don't want them to win, don't deserve to, inconsistent and given that inconsistency they definitely won't. Especially with being away and the long travel. That being said I'd rather they win over the Saders.

Personally I want the Landers to win now.

Well I did say if I recall correctly.

I recall that you have it in for Callum Bruce - and that also you have bigged up Saili about two years ago calling his style of play "the way forward for New Zealand rugby".

This is news to me. Unless the context is very different to how you're representing it. But I don't recall ever 'bigging up' Saili.

In fact, my only posts about Saili seem to be agreeing with you that he's not up to scratch.

Haha - just pulling your leg.

    Piece of cake.
The Sharks are utterly shithouse at the moment.
They don't deserve to be anywhere near the play-offs on current form.

The rest of the matches won't be so straightforward.
    I'd say its a longshot.

    Two comments

    1) Highlanders are crap in this game.
    2) What is the rule for quick line outs. I thought if a member of the opposition was there contesting it you couldn't go quickly? Just saw the cantabs take a quick one despite Aaron smith being right there.

Nope no such rule. Teams typically don't take the quick throw if the opposition is there (obvious reasons)

You can only take a quick throw if you can reclaim the same ball which went out. You can't take a quickie if the ball boy gives you a different rugby ball. I think.

But if the opposition is there aren't you at least obligated to throw it in straight and not on a 45 degree angle straight to your own team.

Nope. Really the only rules are:

Has to be taken before a lineout starts to form
    Has to go 5 metres
Player throwing it in has to have both feet in touch
Same ball, not touched by billboards etc.

what constitutes a lineout starting to form

At least 2 players from each team in position for a lineout from memory.

Is Super Rugby only on Fox?

Also how has Bernard Foley been going?

    Best of luck Highlanders.
Put the Sharks out of their misery, so they can rest their Boks for the RC.

    Carn Sharks!

    Spark you watching this game?

I tipped the Brumbies - but I am going to cheer for the chiefs as they are my team.

    Brumbies playing poorly so far.

Chiefs offside on second phase bull (rushing up too quick)

As soon as I saw the line up and saw Sweeney at 15 I was confused. And his first touch of the ball was to do a meaningless chip kick that was returned for a try.
