FUCK!!!!!!!!111111!!!!!!!!!!!!ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goodes won a brownlow in the ruck. Roughead hasn't played KPD since he was 19. I don't think it's an unreasonable claim when the sample of Roughead playing KPD relies on a small portion when he was young and less developed and thus also relies on the premise that he'd have improved with age.
He's gone back several times over his career. Hasn't spent a whole game down there for many years but does enough to show he could handle himself extremely well down there. Roughead is a better Ruck, Forward and Backman compared to Goodes. Goodes won his Brownlow in the Ruck by basically being an extra midfielder in there. Wasn't for his tap work but more for his efforts around the ground. Not hard since it's a midfielder's award. Anyone can compete in the ruck.
I agree - I'd prefer Roughead down forward and down back. I'd prefer Goodes as a pure midfielder so it's 2/1 in roughead's favour. I do feel Goodes would be more capable in a small forward/flanker sort of role but I guess by extension Roughead might be able to handle smaller forwards (while in defence) better. That said - I think both are very equal in the ruck. They're not great at the tap for obvious reasons but provide a lot around the ground and in the contest. Give Goodes a pre season to prepare for rucking and I'd expect them to perform equally.
Brad Johnson saying Michael Johnson is battling with Harry Taylor for the title of number 1 CHB/FB
I was actually going to make a thread about him (but instead decided I'm going to make one thread tonight for me to post all the shit i want to make threads about but aren't worthy of it) Taylor's clearly better but Johnson is a pretty unique player. Really rate him.
