Different and fucked are two different things, unless the unrealisticness of it pisses you off that much.
Well yeah the realism is completely fucked for at least the remainder of this season, as is a lot of the recruitment that was done for this season. I'm not that fussed with the realism, but Cribb has always focused on it and it's made this season plus maybe even next season completely unrealistic.
I thought its post rank that mattered anyway, so it shouldn't be an issue - or as much an issue as you think. The bigger problem will be he inactivity of key guys who were formerly active. Guys like Eggy for you blokes.
Yeah its the activity rankings that will hurt. And there's no guarantee that if this ever starts again that the players who've disappeared will return for it. A lot of the blokes who've been here for years may well have just moved on to a stage in their life where a simulated cricket competition just isnt that important anymore. I think we could be forced into a reduced competition next season
So devo'd that I joined Cricsim right around the time the drought started. Would have liked to experience Cricsim from back when it wasn't so 'empty'.
I don't know what the definition of an active member is, but apparently there's only 165 of them according to the bottom of the main page.
Yeah inactive and less active are two completely different things. I probably posted and surfed cricsim at least 3 times more than I do now, and I know I'm not the only one.
A few other members joined after I did, which was also before the drought started, so maybe one of them?
I barely post here anymore compared to pre-break days. I still come and browse as much but there isn't a whole to post about these days.
