Because of the way it ended up being worded.

Yeah, I was very surprised Chewie didn't jump on that seeing as he was suss on me. Glad he didn't though. :p

I had a stellar game

I wanted to mafside at the end, but no chance of me doing that when Cribb was the remaining mafia. Heef, WAC.

Haha you actually managed not to make any huge mistakes with your slightly troll character. Definitely a decent showing.

One of the things I really enjoyed in this game were the write ups which I thought had a nice flavour to them, and little things like the name of the dead QT.

Quite frankly, I was scared you'd have figured out who half the mafia were, taken our money and then just sold half of them down the river. Especially given I'd trust you about as much as GF if we'd had a conversion, it was obvious he'd just kill me the moment it happened.

I should've tried to do something more active, but I didn't want to be too obvious, and spent most of the game being scared because I knew if one person found who I was I'd be gone, and in the end too many people were clear for me to have any real chance of survival when heavily FoS'ed/I was really busy at that time unfortunately and didn't give it a whole lot of thought, then Weeman thought if he could get Eds to lynch for us and trick a townie or two then we could just all pile on.

Had a shit game either way. Figured a few things out (Not Cribb being Thrawn, even I had NFI, just figured both QTs were Athlai until Mariner gave an identity) but the first few days kinda put me off the game a bit, as well as general rust and the fact I'm not one of the better players on here.

I feel like I let Athlai down with the chat thing more than anything tbh, that I know I should've tried to do so much more with, but I figured one big message and it'd all be too obvious

Skippos scuppered that idea as he was able to communicate with me during the day, but yes the plan was that someone would try and visit me in order to collect the code during the night.

I did feel a bit bad for Skippos as he was clearly doing the right thing and being earnest about the whole thing, but I had to filibuster at that stage as it was too early to publish a damning coded message as a fakey would have seen more pressure on me.

With the message itself, I had to put something relatively simple in a code that people could work out if they felt so inclined. The coding was probably a little too simplistic in the end, but I had the fall-back prepared that I had assumed it wouldn't be a 'real code' and would be someone's ability to transfer, and of course it could be a mafia red herring anyway. Bought me enough time anyway.

Not quite sure why Ch00-ch00 visited me though. Still, worked out for town in the end.

I had one-time night kill immunity and there was no one else to investigate

Chewie had an ability to survive a night kill. It just didn't work against you. I think that was his logic anyway.

Ah. I see. A risk/reward choice in the end. As I say, didn't matter in the end.

Shame about Cribb. Cribb shouldn't be allowed nice things.

Still wouldn't have mafsided with him though.

I was pretty suss of Cribb anyway, would definitely been on to him as a potential Thrawn if he'd kept posting.

Yeah that was the idea. Some people would have completely shot it down though which would it have made it interesting.

If you thought I already knew then why not just put a gun to my head?

    I wasn't 100% sure what you knew.

In hindsight, it would've been far better to change your report and stick a bounty on a confirmed townie to see what happened.

  19. Skippos SM Morgan

I didn't get reports, no night action, no night reports.

I knew Mariner was mafia. I set up the dialogue with him with the sole intention of forming an alliance.

It was more linked to the Logan/Weeman things, I figured you could've figured at least one of them was a threat and as you're basically not going to hard pick one side, I figured you knew too much for me to risk you being alive. Plus town was listening to you a bit too much.

That said the logic was probably hugely flawed.
