For some strange reason some players are missing from the game even though they're in the database. I'm going to sim the first game anyway just to get things on the road but they'll be missing a couple of players so I'll just put someone else in their place. No ****ing idea why the game would do that.
Check they aren't on loan somewhere else. Happened to me a couple of times even when they didn't have a loan contract.
I did a search of the players in the game and they aren't there at all. Lucas Neill for Theo and Alys Cissokho for you so far. I'll probably find more as I go. I've put Insua in LB for you.
Yeah, he's in the database, contracted to you, but not even in the game. Just found that you're missing Misimovic and Dunne as well. So ****ing annoying.
Okay, apparently when the game is made and you choose a database size, it is really retarded and thinks when someone chooses a small database size, they don't want all the players in the league that they've activated to be in the game, even if you're going to be managing those teams. I'll be starting a new game on a larger database after I make a few adjustments to smooth things a bit in the database (such as manually retiring everyone from international football as I can't make it work in the FMRTE). Best I can do for now is sim the Adelpool/SDFC game with what I have so at least we get one game simmed today, even if it doesn't count. I'd just rather have the database be made properly rather than having to manually change things (some things might not even be able to be fixed properly in the FMRTE).
Database is the file that keeps records of every single bit of information FM10 itself needs when a new game is made. Basically: Database = data for new games to be made.
Won't be able to be done by tonight. I might bring my computer to school tomorrow (triple study) to work on it then. I do have work tomorrow after school though, so the earliest I can get a game simmed will have to be tomorrow night or Saturday. If all goes according to plan, there WILL be games simmed this weekend. I should probably have made sure everything was working before I said I'd sim, but I guess I got too excited about it. Sorry
Nah thats fine. Maybe you could do the pre-season cup with whatever players are there if people are frothing that much for a game to be simmed. Up to everyone. I dont care either way.
