    Update: 60 mins
Graham starts off the second half of the game. He puts a reverse kick up there and Fung claims it. He tries to gain some ground and does very well. He beat Nova and got tackled by Graham. McDougal got to the ball well there, and has succesfully performed a turnover for the Cheetahs. Short takes the ball and tries to chip it over the top, and Devonshire almost got to it, but it rolled into touch. Flack makes a good throw and Miokovic claims it out of the air. The Giants backs run a well organised back move and Fung ends up with it on the wing. He passes it back inside to Son who is bursting on at speed. He gets policied well by Nova and Green and he goes down. Burridge and Dafter ruck over well. Gemmell takes a pick and go but he gets pushed into touch by the defense. S Das has now come on for Sweetman, and will be at flanker. MJ Edwards makes the throw and McDougal taps it back to Short. He passes back to King and he goes for the chip over the top. It goes straight into touch and it is a lineout to the Giants straight back from where King kicked it.

Getting nice and involved there... just need that wee bit more pressure...

  3. CCG C Golding

Son showing good signs, as well as Fung.

  4. Doog J McDougal

Still much tighter than people expected I reckon. Especially seeing as Giants have the advantage of knowing all lineups before the games are simmed anyway

  5. Eds E Ames

No they don't. Only I know the lineups before the games are simmed.

  6. CCG C Golding

No we don't. We've never had a tip off about any lineup. Even if we did, what difference does it make? As if we're gonna change a lineup for a specific team when we have a squad of 17.

I rekon with the simmage cheetahs actually won 50-0, just eds doesnt want to write it :D

  8. Doog J McDougal

    Sure sure ;)

If any team ever wins a game 50-0 in a live game on Seasonal Rugby I will eat my right foot.

    Update: 80 mins
BA Storer has come on for Morris now, and they will definately want him to makes a difference. Flack makes a good throw to Gemmell who takes it at the back and gains some ground. Cribb ships it to Ames who steps back inside. That was a high tackle from King and the ref has given a penalty. Two mistakes in as many minutes from King. Ames attemps to kick the penalty. This is around 35 metres away, and he has got it! The score is 8-0 to the Giants now, and that is a very good desicion to kick that from Giants Captain RG Cribb. C Kovas has come on for DA Alessi and AP Farnsworth will move to wing, with Kovas going to 13. SLO Graham makes the kick and and he has put it into the Giants pack. Parker and Funkotron lift Miokovic up and he forms a maul. The Giants keep it in there, but it has been kept in there too long. Scrum to the Cheetahs. Short puts the ball in and he receives it out the back after a pressure position from the Giants. They ship it out to JEM Logan who is drifting, and still drifting. Ref calls last play. LOGAN BREAKS THE GIANTS LINE BUT THERE IS A BIG CHASE FROM SON. TRY IN THE CORNER. But Graham cannot convert, and the final score is 8-5 to the Giants. The Man of the Match Award goes to SA Flack for amazing driving and behind the scenes action.

It will be the same game that luffers gets 3 conversions. You'll have a feast!

  12. Fungus K Fung

    Yep, but still preferred fullback.

  13. Doog J McDougal

Ooh tight finish. Everyone else needs to watch out, Cheetahs are looking dangerous.

Ftr, CCG, I decided Miokovic deserved a full game instead of bringing O'Driscoll on.

  16. Verigoat S Verigotta

Easily the best forwards performers. Whoever said it was a naff pack before obviously has no idea how to play rugby :D

  17. CCG C Golding

Well you'll move back there after this. Just wanted to have a look at Son there encase you get injured. Good win, nitty gritty work from the forwards won it. Farnsworth and Golding in the centres looked like it has a lot of potential as well.

  18. CCG C Golding

No worries. I might start O'Driscoll next game to compensate.

**** I had an average game as well. Need to step it up.

Wait what was that ? :p

Seems like the move to put Logan in the Centre paid off.
    Good game Cheetahs :D

Likewise with us and Farny. But then again Farny > Logan
