This is all set to be a decent match and there are changes to both of the teams. Dafter and Miokovic need big games, and they could make the difference. Logan will need to contain Golding and Ames will look to go through King. Farnsworth will be in there to make sure Graham doesn't get through. I can see pick and goes galore here and a few of the old back moves, but whatever happens, it will be good.

 

Update: 20 mins
E Ames has put a high one up into the air and Verigotta has claimed it. Good lifting from Morgan and Morris. He taps it back to Short who has taken it cleanly. King takes the ball and has given it to Logan. He is bullied well by Golding and Farnsworth and he forms a breakdown. Morgan gets to the breakdown well. Short passes back to King who smashes a kick into touch. Flack makes a good throw but McDougal has stolen it, and he taps it back for Short. King makes another kick and it seems the Cheetahs are playing the territory game. Flack makes sure this time and it goes to Dafter at the front. He passes it back to Cribb who ships it out to Ames. He decides to go straight at King, and tries to hand him off, but it is a good tackle by King. Funkotron takes a pick and go, and makes some ground. SDR Laing does the same and makes a bit more ground. Morris and Morgan are tackling like demons at the moment. Cribb passes back to Ames who throws a miss pass to Farnsworth. FARNSWORTH HAS BROKEN THE CHEETAHS LINE AND ONLY HAS GRAHAM TO BEAT. IT IS A RACE TO THE CORNER AND FARNSWORTH GETS TACKLED OVER. TRY GIANTS. Ames slightly misses the conversion but that is a brilliant try from Farnsworth.

 

Update: 40 mins
SLO Graham makes a nice kick, and Parker has taken it. He tries to make as much ground as he can, but he is taken down early. Burridge gets over well and wins the ruck. Cribb makes a box kick and it has rolled into touch, so it has put the Cheetahs under some pressure. MJ Edwards has thrown the ball in for the Cheetahs and Yates takes it at the back. He makes a few yards before Ames takes him down. SDR Laing has got to that ruck first and turned the ball over for the Giants. Lovely play from SDR Laing there. Cribb ships it to Ames who passes to Golding. He has made a dummy switch with Farnsworth, and that has worked well but SM Green has taken him down well. Cribb decides to go blind and Alessi takes it. He makes a solid gain before being taken down by the Cheetahs defender. The ref has called last play just as Ames receives the ball from Cribb and he chips one other the top, but it has gone a bit too long and that is the half.
