Right. So Season 3 is taking like, forever to finish. As such activity is becoming an issue. My idea is that we open the Season 4 contracts thread to get the activity levels up while GYR & Cribb are working out the kinks with the sim. I don't expect this to happen but it'd be a good idea imo. I'm not going to be happy if GYR says something like "the contracts thread will be opened after the GF to maintain interest during the off-season" because there really should be no long off-season, the gap between rounds has been enough to be considered 2 off-seasons imo >_>
It will definitely spark a shitload of activity in this section, no doubt about it. I still don't think the thread will be opened.
Neither do I. The only disadvantage is that people could well change their minds before the end of this season, and that could cause alot of problems.
If the contracts thread is open though then they can sign to their team for season 4. If they change their mind after signing then it's their own fault imo.
I didn't really read your post but I'm assuming that it's about GYR not simming consistently? /Actually, now I've read it. Yeah, he should open it.
It's really not a good idea at the moment. People will need to re-register for next season (to an extent) and I haven't completely figured out how I'm going to get them to do that yet. I think I'll just get Jew to chuck in a few new things to full out in the contracts thread but as I don't really know exactly what they'll be yet, contracts can't really be open.
