Nah, no more games tonight with the possible exception of the two England v Celts games. Will be tomoz.
Queensland v Asia Queensland: Manera, Vago, Downpipes, Gemmell, Gee, Perry, Faithful, Volavola, Ryabovol, Funkotron, King Asia: Himann, Narang, Farhat, Chewie, Dong, Lee, Das, Teja, Immanuel, Chung, Ikram Two sides Asia pulled off an upset this time last year, but that was on the back of an encouraging start in their first Borisc Trophy - this time they have failed to hold onto their title, and despite having had a full season to establish themselves, the side still has horrendous balance issues, relying on unconvincing seamers from Supple Dong and Ali Farhat to support the lone danger man Michael Chung. The bowling talent is simply yet to emerge, and so Asia look to simply extend their batting with a call up for solid ALC performer Hal Teja. Queensland, however, have their own problems, having been left to lick their wounds after a whitewash in the Origin series. Despite sporting one of the best batting lineups in the competition, with a top five all in the top 16 ranked batsmen in CricSim, the top six folded repeatedly and had to rely on Faithful and Volavola to get them out of trouble. The bowling fared rather better, but they are still struggling to replace the ageing Choco Man, having discarded Steve Cambridge as underwhelming and reverted to old hand Ivan Ryabovol. It's more than likely that the Queenslander's experienced batting order under-performed in Origin, and faced with less testing opposition they are perfectly capable of putting up an unmatchable total. The Herald predicts a 120 run win for them, but the depth and talent in Asia's batting suggests they may well cling on for the draw.
Lol, Chewie is a batting allrounder and ranked #1. We also have Himann, who's clearly the next Chewie. Future #1 and #2 batsmen of CS right there.
