    Queensland have been searching for a fast bowling allrounder for ages though. They tried %L Lover, %CJ Devonshire and %JA Robertson in the role - none of them are really good enough for rep cricket bar Devonshire and he was pretty unsuited to being a primarily bowling type player. %IA Ryabovol did a decent job when he was actually a good player but since then you've really struggled in the position.

    It's the Ravens who MF deciding he's a batsman is going to annoy. He bats 9 for us with Paddy at 10 but he opens the bowling.. not someone we really need a lot of runs from. :p

    Yeah, we're playing 2 seamers this week so it'd be nice if he took some wickets...

    Yeah but it'll be easier for the Ravens to find a fast bowling allrounder than it will be for QLD. Still, MF is a good player and will help us immensely.

    Yeah, my point was that Queensland needed MF to be an allrounder as much as they need him to bowl well. The Ravens just need him to bowl well; if he averaged 5 with the bat but cemented his place as a quality opening bowler we'd take that.
