    Carn Punters!

I thought the Olympians were good, or do Sparta have a lot of injuries?

  3. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Major injury crisis. Olympians would normally have Alessi, Farny/Dorn, Jackson playing instead of the two fillers and a having back rowers playing on the wing and at full back.

Basically, this Olympians team is buggered.

The weather is nice and dry. A perfect day for running rugby.

We're now 24 metres into Olympians territory.

Alex O'Driscoll is tackled by Scott Flack for the Olympians and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but someone in the Olympians defensive line has been called off side. Penalty to the Punters

Luke Popovic takes the kick for touch. That finds touch 18 metres up-field.

Line Out to the Punters only 8m away from the try line. That's a good throw from Adam Gloury. Tipple Nickler takes it without fuss.

Tipple Nickler runs round the line out and catches the Olympians unaware. He gains 3 metres before being tackled to the ground.

Zach Poole has a great turn of pace now. He's already gained 8 metres. He slides past Scott Flack's attempted tackle and slides over in the corner. Too easy in the end there.

    TRY for the Punters
Popovic's conversion attempt sailed wide of the posts, no extra points there.
    Punters 5 - 0 Olympians

A line out to the Punters, 26m out from halfway. The calls come from the lines. Adam Gloury throws and that's right down the middle. An easy take there for the Punters. Alex O'Driscoll is the man who gets it in the end and he now has to weigh up his options.

The forwards are there to support him and they go to drive Alex O'Driscoll up field. 4 metres gained from that effort.

The Olympians have been caught offside at the maul there. Penalty to the Punters.

Penalty to the Punters, 20m from the try line. They decide to kick for touch and Popovic does the honours and kicks it 19 metres up field.

Line out to the Punters, just 5 metres away.

Easy take there for the Punters. Brett Hall comes around the near side and catches it at short range.

The Punters form a maul and rumble over the try line. A perfect display of a forwards try.

    TRY to the Punters

Popovic slots the conversion right down the middle. An extra 2 for the Punters.

    Punters 12 - 0 Olympians
