But the Punters hit straight back. Poole bursts past Evans and passes to Popovic. Miokovic highlights his inability to tackle by waving his arms around aimlessly as Popovic runs by.

Popovic to Warrington, fast hands to Lee. Lee jinks round Armstrong and again leaves Miokovic grasping at air as he slides over next to the posts.

The Einherjar are camped out in the Punters' half, but the Punters' defence is solid and keeps the Einherjar out. Good work from Popovic, Borisc and Eightyfour.

Try to Cameron Darts. The setup was from the forwards. First Downpipes, then Miokovic and finally Gayler driving to within inches of the line.

The Einherjar then spread and an easy overlap for Darts in the corner.

Would you believe it. That man Miokovic finally puts in a tackle and it saves a try. His flailing arms somehow found purchase on Poole's shirt and he brought him down.

Downpipes completes the turnover.

But they lose the ball, and again desperation stakes saves a try as Robinson barges Jake Taylor into touch.

Poor kick from Poole. He tries the big up-and-under from 20m out, but massively overcooks it and it goes out the back for a drop out.

This has come from nowhere. Brett Con scythes through weak defensive work from Jake Taylor and finds the corner.

Borisc doesn't waste his effort chasing. There's no way he's going to stop him.

Darts fails to convert.
