Those odds are pretty fucking ugly. Would be a massive shock to get up here.

    Why are they so bad?

Are they "that" much better or is it because of the out of position players

  5. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Their weakest link is either Hornby or du Toit.

Ours could be Volt Man (better than his stats suggest, IMO), Astele, Scoble or Somerset. They just have more quality.

If we had Heads in the centres it would make a difference. In terms of the odds calculator, we'd also be better off playing Taylor (for Dorn) and Hurricane (for Astele, probably). Just because the odds would be better doesn't necessarily mean we'd be better off though as you're thinking about your line-up more than some selectors tbf.

Should just throw this game in order to face the weaker side in the final

    This, tonight.

    9am GMT/10pm NZT.

Stats will probably be up in the morning NZT. Trying to make the time more palatable for the home team.

This post tends to suggest that New Zealand are paying overs, even if they are likely to lose.

Still, Seasonal Rugby books are very bookie-biased so I'm not going to bet. :p

I run a very low book percentage tbf. What do you want me to do? Run it at less than 100%? I average out at less than 110%; which is less than the industry standard for Union.

Chances of me reverting back to the norm vs continuing to shunt it?

No idea. But it is a concern, I have to say.

Hmm, looking at the odds you've got there, you're right. Did you run a less favourable book when it was your own vCash or something? Had it in my head that SR games weren't worth betting on for some reason.

Haha. Yeah - certainly for the more exotic bet types. But that, again, is pretty standard that the more exotic and risky the option, the higher the percentage. And yeah, when it was my vCash, I was always worried about running out of it so I ran it more like a proper bookmaker would. I used to move the prices all the time, depending on the weight of money etc. I don't bother with that now.

    Don't remind me

My form's gone down the toilet in the last couple of games after being ridiculously good all season too; bad signs for the Spartans.

Brumby's been oddly incredible whenever he's played, as well.
