Dion Alessi tackled by Morgan Burridge. Downes piles in, but Wes Welker secures a turnover.

Hornby sets up a huge cut out pass to King, and it's perfectly weighted. Geoff Smith has committed to the tackle, but King sidesteps him and is through.

Blunder comes over to cover, but King has acres of space to play with and Blunder can't prevent the try. Poor defence from the Spartans.

Blunder has pushed King wide, so a tough conversion from Ben Taylor. Misses.

Ben Taylor is latched onto by Dave Eggman. Eggman is holding him here, and wraps his arms around the ball. Eggman yanks the ball away from Taylor and barges him over. Great play by Eggman.

The Gamblers defence is scrambling here. Eggman to Luffman. Luffman runs diagonally through a gap between King and Vago and launches a pass over Vago's head to Dorn.

Dorn with quick hands to Blunder on the overlap. Blunder turns on the afterburners and fends off Rabbit Boy. Great fend.

Blunder cuts infield and dots down under the posts.

Incredible last ditch tackle from Luke Tyson!

The Spartans had gone short at the line out and Ritchie thundered through. Back to Izett, and with the forwards committed at the line out, Tyson had to bring the Spartans' hooker down. He wrapped himself around Izett's legs and sent the hooker hurtling to the floor. Izett drops the ball as he hits the turf.

Ben Taylor claps and Brett Gemmell pats Izett on the head patronisingly.
