30.15 John McGrath tackled by Dong. Only Teja there in support though and the Spartans easily secure quick ball. 20m into Crabs territory now. Cribb picks up the ball and decides to go for a run himself. He beats one tackle, but sees Brumby looking and thinks better of running. He passes to Luffman who throws a good pass into Blunder. Blunder spots a yawning gap between Heads and Somerset and he has the pace to exploit it. Furball comes across to cover and does well, but the Crabs defence are in disarray again and once Furball is committed to the tackle, Blunder easily finds Luffman. Luffman doesn't have great momentum though and Teja completes a well timed tackle. Davis is up there in support though and picks the ball from the ruck and is unmolested () as he dives over the line, just to the left of the uprights. Luffman easily converts. Spartans 28 - 0 Crabs
Hmmm. Don't think I can do this. You should make a request for an aggression choice in the Wish List thread.
Haha wasn't seriously hoping on any kind of implementation. But may actually ask for something like that if we continue to get hammered this season.
Half Time Spartans have 78% of possession and 70% of territory and have spent 10.30 in the Crabs 22m. Crabs have not even penetrated the Spartans 22m once. Not looking good for the Crabs as the Spartans greater fitness and bench strength is likely to cause further damage in the 2nd half. Can the Cwabs get on the board??
I didn't mention in the commentary, but on about 28 minutes, Burgey got involved in a fracas with Storer, but nothing really came of it. Just a bit of handbags.
Should also be an option to play dirty. E.g. breaking people's fingers during mauls. Should also be extended commentary for the antics on the bus ride home after the win or loss.
You keen for a bit of rucking and eye gouging? I've programmed nothing of the sort into the sim but maybe that's a little naive.
We'll leave out the eye gouging maybe - but definitely some stomping/crafty rabbit punches/and general cheap shots would be awesome.
In serious club rugby and I was the coach - if any team started to run up the score I me - I would tell the boys to send a message.

Second Half 40.00 Blunder with the restart. He kicks deep and Dong's there. Oh dear, he's dropped this cold. That's a scrum. 18m into Crabs territory. The scrum forms, but someone's been penalised for poor binding. I can't see it myself. Well, that's another penalty to the Spartans. I can't see the Crabs keeping all 15 on the field with the way this penalty count is racking up. Blunder finds touch 15m from the Crabs try line. Ritchie with the throw, taken well by McGrath. McGrath doesn't want anything to do with the ball and happily passes it away to Cribb. The Spartans chuck this ball down their back line again, looking for the overlap. Blunder on the run gains a few meters and finds Farnsworth with a good pass. Just 2m short of the line, but Phlegm's there covering. Farnsworth has no way forwards and he passes a loose ball that bobbles along the ground. McGrath dives over the ball but Brumby contests and a ruck forms. Wow, there's bodies all over this ruck. Surely someone's infringing, and no surprise that the ref's arm comes out. He's playing advantage for now as the ball slowly comes out to the Spartans. Cribb passes short on the short side of the ruck to Deane. The Crabs didn't spot him and there's absolutely no defence there. Deane slides over in the corner. Luffman again converts a toughie. Spartans 35 - 0 Crabs
General cheap shots. Hahaha. A swift kick to the kidneys, lead with knee into head. That's the detail missing from the sim right now.
