The Vikings have come out with all guns blazing after getting the hairdryer treatment at half time.

Ben Jacobs puts in a good kick and finds touch half way to the Canes try line. However, momentum is lost and then regained as firstly Torres steals the ball at the line out before Kim Glensor drops the ball cold to concede a scrum...

 

Good scrum for the Vikings and the ball is spread wide to Ben Herd. He gains a few yards and passes to Steve Cambridge on the inside who, under pressure from Zohaib Ikram, palms the diminutive fly half away with disdain.

Ten metres from the line and under pressure from Lover, Cambridge passes to the bulky frame of Doland Boland who ploughs down Simon Nova before being impressively brought down by Karwin Rogers only a metre away from the try line....

 

The Vikings set up for the forwards to drive at the line. Delonge takes a dart, but is pushed back, but not hard enough for the Canes to turn the ball over...

 

The props, Narang and Ridd line up either side of the ruck. Cattwat Smith pushes against the ruck to no avail.

The ball comes to Ridd. He drives at the line. Surely that’s a try. The ref thinks about it, then gives it! Great try from the Vikings. A bit of everything in that one.

Marshall converts with ease.

Great throw by Smith at the line out finds Hebditch who looks surprised to receive the ball.

He gives the ball away to Lover who barges Ben Herd out of the way. Lover being slowed down by the forwards now leaves behind the ball for Pilgrim who passes along the back line. Son goes for a run and is brought down by Narang only 2m short of the line. However, Narang has no one there to back him up and Pilgrim gets clean ball and Kim Glensor barges over the line for an easy try.

Ikram converts to restore the Hurricanes 2 try buffer.

Line out interference called on Hebditch. Jacobs hoofs this Penalty to touch 25m upfield. Line out to the Vikings. Another good throw from Delonge finds its target. The ball comes quickly to Marshall who scoots through a small gap between Pilgrim and Dyer. Dyer should really have had that covered.

Marshall through here. He didn’t have far to go, and Son couldn’t cover him.

Try. He converts his own try. Good effort.
