S4, R1: Gamblers RUFC vs. Vikings (RS) (vBookie)

The Vikings are looking to exploit the tiredness of the Gamblers backs and spread the ball along the back line. Andrew James takes a run at the line, but is smashed by the fresh legs of Brett Hall coming in. He didn't spot him at all!

Welker and Read pile in, and Truman Lee jumps on top for no discernible benefit. Regardless, the Gamblers have secured a timely turnover here as James is penalised for not releasing the ball.

Taylor clears upfield. Danger averted.

From the line out, Dempsey secures clean ball. The Gamblers looking to break on the counter here from the half way line. The ball comes out to Adam Vago. He gains a few yards but is tackled by Downpipes. Gayler pushes over the ball, but great counter-rucking from Lewis and Hall ensure the Gamblers retain possession.

Hornby to Lukic but there's no where for him to run. They'll try and bust up the middle through the forwards. Welker gets nowhere and is tackled. Lewis goes for the pick and go, but there's loads of Vikings forwards here. Delonge over the top. The ref blows his whistle. Lewis pinged for not releasing the ball.

From the halfway line, Marshall thinks about going for the shot at goal, but it's out of his range. There's still time for one set piece, so Jacobs kicks into touch 13m from the try line.

The full time siren blows as David Crowley takes clean ball at the line out... We're into added on time here, and the Vikings are looking likely. Can they line up a droppie or get over the line?
