    Sharks penalised for interference at the line out. Dion Alessi boots a fantastic kick into the corner from the resulting penalty. Spartans attacking line out 5m from the Sharks' try line.

    Alan Izett with a good throw, easily taken by Heath Davis. Davis passes to Downes who puts his head down and drives at the line. A clearly spent Sharks defense has no answer for the drive and the young rookie dots down and the Spartans look delighted for him

    A tough conversion attempt, but Alessi gets it over.

    Oh god.

    Chris Golding is tackled by Callum Laing and the Spartans' forwards pile in. That's a turnover and quick ball is secured by the Spartans forwards too.

    9m on the Spartans side of the half way line here, Cribb spins the ball to Alessi who passes quick as a flash out to Orr. Orr chucks this one still further onto Dorn who's got a sniff of an overlap.

    How much pace does the rookie have? Well, enough. Logan can only chase him into the corner as Dorn finally does something for the first time in Seasonal Rugby.

    Can Alessi nail the kick for a 50 point game for the Spartans? No, it was a tough one and it sails wide of the posts.

    The Sharks just playing for pride now. They just haven't turned up for this game, and they know it.

    Jordan Logan with a good burst through here, beating Dorn for pace. He's brought down by the tireless Dave Eggman 10m from the Spartans line, and the Sharks forward look to do the work from here.

    Shane Masters with the first dart, but he gets nowhere thanks to a tackle from Nick Scott. Now out to James McDougal who gains a couple before another ruck forms. Morris has a go, but also gets nowhere. Great defense from the Spartans here again. This time the Sharks take their time to form their line. Looks like they'll spread it, but instead they go to Verigotta who's taken the Spartans by surprise. Downes tries to take him low, but Verigotta's wise to that. He jumps over the tackle and is through. He scores a consolation for the Sharks.

    Scoble hooks the conversion away to the left.
