    You'd have to think this is the energy toll on Japan in effect now. Did well for the first 50 mins. Realistically Scotland weren't going to take them lightly.

    Yeah the bonus point may well let Scotland win the pool even if they lose to SA, though I don't think coming 1st in this pool is that big a deal tbh. D and A are the groups you want to win

    Only if they do a Japan-style loss, I think? They've gained 3 points on SA now, if they lose with 1 bonus point SA take that advantage back and win the group on head-to-head result.

    On the other hand Scotland don't have to worry about Japan catching them even if SA routs them.

    Scotland vs Samoa and even Samoa vs SA are going to be interesting. SA haven't exactly guaranteed a top 2 finish....

    Winning A isn't worth much if you have to play South Africa. I'm not surprised Scotland put Japan to the sword though - they have some decent backs when they get going. Japan might not even beat the USA.

    Japan's a better team than the USA. I think the only thing that could stop that is them being spent from these 2 physical games, that and the drama (SA).
