Nah, I'm fully aware Banahan isn't of great quality, but he does have a similar playing style to SBW (ie. being large and getting out the side-door offloads). He'd be much more effective for England if we had an actual pacy OC I reckon.

James Simpson-Daniel, Joe Worsley, George Chuter, Thomas Waldrom and David Strettle all been dropped by England. Charlie Sharples chances of making it have increased a lot with Strettle and JSD being dropped.
In two minds about Waldrom being dropped. I reckon he's good enough to be in there, but I'd have been gutted to see him line up against NZ.
