This game was always going to be a big game in both of these teams seasons. Both sides were tipped to do well at the start of the season and both have had shaky form over the last 6 weeks. The Panthers seem to be repeating their usual end of season fade out. It is starting to become quite scary to watch from a Panther fans perspective. I often wonder whether it it Matt Elliot or if it is the players. Penrith are due for a few decent wins but I just feel that the next three games are all going to be difficult. Especially considering the Bulldogs will probably be hosting a farewell to Luke Patten and Trent Barrett will play his last game the following week. The Rabbitohs have also been having a crisis on the field but this is mainly due to their injury toll. The team the Rabbitohs have running out this week looks very much like a Rabbitohs side of late, terrible. However, Penrith mustn't take these guys lightly. The Rabbitohs will be desperate for a win considering if they lose they are out of finals contention. Numbers game The Panthers have lost two of their past three games at home Souths have only won two games at CUA Stadium since 1987 Penrith have conceeded the first try in three of their past four games The Rabbitohs have lost all four Friday night games this year Late mail *Subject to change Panthers Panthers centre Michael Jennings will needle his troublesome shoulder to play this Friday with either Cooper or Smith to be omitted from the 15 man bench. Rabbitohs Are not anticipating any changes but yet to make a decision on who will be named 18th man.
I will remember this in future and start infracting you for trolling instead of just thinking you're ignorant.
Team changes: Penrith 1-13, bench Daine Laurie, Matthew Bell, Nathan Smith, Masada Iosefa Souths 1-13 bench, bench McPherson, Tyrell, Clark, Farrell That is the way to go. Well done Elliot good bench. Gavin Cooper dropped off the bench, I think the best way to put it is that he has been rested. Hoping Laurie can come on and destroy Souths. Rabbitohs bench isn't much though.
