I expect Canberra to win but keen to see a decent contest though. Want to see how Te Maire goes. Supposed to drop to -7 degrees. lol Dreading it.
Pretty much do or die now by my count now for the Raiders. 11 rounds left including this game & they're on 14 points. - Got a bye next week which takes them to 16 points - They play the Storm twice & Sharks once which you couldn't see them winning atm. - Which leaves 7 games from which they can draw points (a maximum of 14 points) which would take them to 30 if they don't lose any of them. 30 points see's them sneak into the 8.
The show and go and that flick pass for Te Maire Martin's second try was particular highlight for me. He was awesome. Good to see that live. Fuck it was cold though even for Canberra.
I was looking at the ladder a few days ago, saw the Dragons and Thurstonless Cowboys in the top eight and thought "Yeah, they'll both go out the back door which will open up places for Penrith and Canberra." But the Thurstonless Cowboys have beaten Penrith and Canberra in successive weeks now, not to mention the points advantage they hold over them. I'd be surprised if they didn't make the eight now. This game was huge.
