If you do get a 400, which should be moved to lies, you will only be in front by 150. I can get half that in a single innings. Bitch.

Ah, a bit like you bug many, many members on the whole forum? Shame, isn't it.

Yet again you've gone back to your boring ****ing argument. There wasn't a mistake in my example. I simply said I would rather take 1 or 2 wickets an innings, and average 30-35 than take 3/4 and average over 40. Go do a little investigating and you'll understand how that's possible. And in the end, you've actually agreed with what I said, and disagreed with what you said ("**** economy or the like). I said I'd prefer to have the better average, and here we have your agreement in writing. End of argument.

    White text agrees :p

Avatar bet I end up scoring more runs than you?

Yes, I'm really bother that a group of people scattered around the globe, whom I'm never likely to meet, who only know me from the way I come across in text, don't like me.

That's the point. The bowler in your example didn't average 30-35, he averaged 50-100 where as the bowler who took more wickets had the lower average.
Also, so you'd rather be me? The bowler with less wickets and the better average? Cheers pal.

Deal. Have it until Round 1 of BS?

  6. Baxter MJ Deane

Oh and ftr I know about your shitty little thread in the 'Rays subforum.

You wont need to worry about that I will be choosing yours ;) :p

Edit: If BS starts straight after this will be epic lols

What are you talking about!? If you struggle to read then get some help before it's too late.

I said I'd rather take 1/2 wickets and average 30-35. Understand? Then I said I wouldn't want to take 3/4 wickets and average 40+. Therefore, the person with less wickets has the better average.

In this case, yeah you're that person, and TBH I'd probably prefer to have taken a few less wickets and have an average under 40, but it ain't the case unfortunately. As it is I'm higher up in the rankings than you, and it looks as though it's getting under your skin so I'm happy to sit with that.

And I would care about that specific point why? I'm not just talking about the Rays, think you'll find it extends beyond that...

You keep referring to my response to your example. The example where the bowler did not average 30-35.
You originally used that example to say I was contradicting myself, which I disproved. Now having realised that you've binned that example completely and are now just speaking hypothetically CCG.
Honestly, this is one of the most incoherent arguments I've ever had due to the fact you seem incapable of structuring a post that actually supports your point of view. It doesn't help the matter that the point you're arguing is changing every other post because the majority of them have been wrong.
Do you actually know in your head what point you're trying to get across?

Let me refer you to the post where I made it clear I couldn't care less.

  13. CCG C Golding

So Marcuss, if my argument doesn't support my view and is pointless, what's your need to argue? Oh wait...it had a valid point and you couldn't understand/accept/reply to it. Chin up.

  14. Baxter MJ Deane

Nah, you keep making different points, so I respond to each of them.
It just seems as though you can't keep track of what you've said. As I reply coherently for you to accuse me of contradicting myself or supporting your view. Though your view changes with each post. If you had a particular point you were trying to argue and stuck to it we'd be fine. But you don't have a clue because each time you've come up with something I've proved you wrong.
    It's fine to admit defeat.

  15. CCG C Golding

I keep making different points, which are apparently pointless yet you want to argue with them. Suggests to me that I'm talking some truth here which you feel a necessity to respond to.

  16. Baxter MJ Deane

Where did I say they were pointless?

Unable to respond to the rest of my post?

  17. Luffers JRE Luffman

Got to remember there is some shite bowling here and it's been simmed CPU vs CPU. So it's different from normal cricsim. It's still a good effort but it doesn't prove that much.

EDIT- plus he's averaging less than my season 8 anyway :p

That spells out to me, that, if I cannot structure an argument that supports my point of view, then it is pointless.

And why didn't I bother responding to the rest of your post? Because I've finally tired of listening to your repetitive whining.

  19. Baxter MJ Deane

Nah, it has a point. It's just different to the one you were arguing 3 posts ago.

You call it repetitive I call it actually having a clue what point I'm trying to get across. Potato - Grapefruit.
Not my fault you can't comprehend.
