2nd XVII Player of the Year:
    3 - Reece Fittaman
    2 - Kyle Tait
    1 - Ed Ames

Overview:Wow, what an absolute cracker of a match. After 90 minutes of football, we have a draw. It looked as though the 2nd XVII were going to win it but the Rejects got over the line with 3 minutes remaining. Great effort all round. Particularly to Reece Fittaman who had a great game off the bench, Kyle Tait who was solid in the centres and Ames who lead the team around beautifully. Other notable efforts to Cambridge and Astele who did well as well.

  6. Toolman TR Man

He was huge back in the day.

  7. Cribbage RG Cribb

Good game from Fittaman. Average effort from Jeffy though; was expecting more TBH.

  8. Toolman TR Man

    Who's Reece Fittaman?

Cambridge was fairly solid, good to see.

  9. Luffers JRE Luffman

Good game for Fittaman a true donkeh

  10. GYR DW Lewis

Yeah I was tossing up whether to play him or not. I decided not to as it would be unfair to start him over someone actually signed to a club and fighting for a spot. I guess he could have swapped with Ames as Ames looks as though he is playing FG anyway. Ah well, next round I will.

  11. Bender BG Herd

    Ames was awesome.

    Pumas are ftw.

  12. GYR DW Lewis

    MCA or Marto now.

  13. Cribbage RG Cribb

I have no problem with Ames getting a start over him; I thought he would have played for "the Rejects" though given he actually still has some vague interest in this unlike, say, Rusty.

  14. GYR DW Lewis

I must say, it is a real shame that Meister is inactive. He is still gunning it like the old days.

  15. GYR DW Lewis

Yeah I guess you are right, next game I guess.

  16. Flack SA Flack

Darts getting highly involved in attack...

Ames played pretty gun, I'd expect to see him into firsts next round.

  17. Flack SA Flack

Also, looks like Astele was a defence wall 28 tackles with none missed, no errors or penalties...

  18. Cribbage RG Cribb

Another request - leave Fittaman as #17 where you have him if possible. I know he had a good game so you might be tempted to start him but I'd rather see him sink or swim there to know if he's a viable option for a first grade bench spot in the same role. :)

  19. GYR DW Lewis

Indeed, he would have gotten a DF try in NearlyRLSim terms.

  20. Cribbage RG Cribb

Could've used more of that in the second half against the Donkehs... :p
