I'm South African myself, boet. While my post may have come across as an attack, I just meant to imply we've had a couple decent Zimbabweans playing at a decent level in SA rugby teams.
Their best players are has-beens. Scotland were down to reserves as well and still won... in Argentina. I agree that that doesn't mean much in isolation, however depth is hugely important. There is talent coming through, their young flyhalf springs to mind, but you have to wonder where the next Roncero's, Contemponi's, Ledesma's and Pichot's will come from? Scotland and Samoa do the best they can with what little they have, I don't think that's the case with Argentina. They're struggling, and the RC has drubbed a losing habit into them, at least Scotland and Samoa win occasionally. Perhaps they'll improve before the world cup, but based on actual performances, they would find it difficult against either Scotland or Samoa.
Namibia again. Congrats to them. I really hope Zim can turn over Russia in the repechage, but it's a long shot. Kenya done goofed.
They have just started advertising world cup package tours. Would love to go I just doubt my mates will have the dosh to go Would imagine you would be looking at $5K minimum.
I see Gareth Anscombe has signed for the Cardiff Blues; expect to see him in Leekist red soon. Has a Taff mother, I believe.
