    My roles have been generally pretty meh (some good, some bad):

    Kai, Young Shaolin: Vanilla townie who picked up a doc late in the game.
    Lord Jon Connington: Role reveal upon death
    Darth Vader: Change someone's vote, send messages and/or find who Luke was.
    Vislor Turlough, Servant of the Black Guardian: Roleblocker + could hide on a planet (though my EO was to lead a lynch on the doctor...bastard mod :p)
    Plo Koon: Got a Mafia message each night
    Emma Frost: Cop, or could be unkillable.
    Remus Lupin: Apparently had a once every four night passive kill.
    Ray Arnold: Had control over the power
    Pippin: Could find Treebeard, then pick up a QT with him (also in a QT with Merry)

    Had a pretty powerful role in WWII Maf :(

    Haha mine have been pretty much meh too except 2/3 games. And got vig'd for no reason in one of them. Doctor Who Maf was probably the best role.

    So I've done a few checks

    Weeman27bob and loganb have never been mafia. Other "notable" players never to have been mafia include Heath, KATA and weldone. Cribb has never started a game as mafia or finished one as town.

    Have I started the game as mafia? Cannot recall.

    I was Scarlet Witch in X-men and would side with whoever found me first between Magneto and Professor X - iirc.
