Not off one season in FC. I think he should be very much in contention, just I see where those who dont agree with it are coming from.
Think medium pacer is a bit harsh, operates 78-83mph usually, whenever I've seen him. He's a ****ing good bowler so \_/ for pace. It's now how it's how many for how much.
I dont care for pace but the selectors do. IMO if a fast bowler or spinner was posting those stats they would be straight in.

Think his injury record plays a bigger part in why he's not been selected. If he could string together some performances leading up to a Test series without crippling himself he'd be in. He's been on a few A tours so he is/was not far away.
Screw that hack Mark Davies, Brad Hodge should have been at #4 in the Australian team for his whole career.

So if I was to average 42 in season 9 and say someone like Colesy was to average 55. Would you drop me from the test side for him? Choco has still been performing really well. He is a proven player who has done it on every level and dominated it, if he is dropped it's a farce. It takes more than one season to demand selection. But if I got out for 10 we would only make 11.
