E Ames has moved to fly half making way for JRE Luffman to move to No.9. DRP Taylor has the ball again for the kick off and has put a lofted one up to the GB forwards. Yet again McDougal takes it with pure grace. He is surely one of the best locks in the world. He forms a maul and Edwards and Wilkinson are driving like mad men. C Laing is orchestrating behind it all and now calls for it out. He goes for a pick and go himself. He lays it back on a plate for Ames. He hands it to Luffman who chips one over for Logan. LOGAN HAS GOT IT IN THE CORNER! TRY GB! This is a very tough kick for Ames and he has missed it to the right of the posts. The NZers are losing faith but they still jog back to half way. The score is now 19-0 to Great Britain. SLO Graham has moved to Inside Centre and BOY Blunder is now at full back. DRP Taylor puts one up on the reverse side and Nova takes it. He passes back inside to Golding. Lovely step from Golding there and he has just taken it round Kirikiri. It takes a ferocious tackle from HJ Bots to stop Golding. Support arrives quickly and Wilkinson takes a pick and go. Now SDR Laing takes a pick and go, and now C Laing. Lovely driving play from GB. Ames passes back to Luffman who makes a nice kick into the NZ 22. Lots of changes now. E Ames is coming off for ND Short and Luffman is moving back to 10 with Short at scrummy. S Das comes on for HT Davis and J Torres comes on for Denton. NZ really need these guys to make a difference.

 

Tbh look at the teamsheets, on paper. You had one player that could play centre. he is one of your best players and he gets injured. You have 2 flankers playing in the centres! Skippos does not have much to work with tbh.

AP Farnsworth is on for C Golding now and will play out of position at Outside Centre. M Deane is coming on for MJ Edwards and will play at 8. SDR Laing is moving to flanker and C Laing has moved to hooker. S Verigotta has gone to lock and McDougal has moved to flanker. It is a lineout to NZ just inside their 22 and Izett has it. He makes a nice throw which Verigotta competes with but Torres gets easily. He taps it back to Jennings he sends it back to Scoble who clears it onto the half way line slightly inside the NZ half. Quick lineout from Blunder, good initiative. He has taken one man on and beaten him. He has beaten the second man that he has taken on and is still going. Finally tackled by MP Chung but that was a very nice run from Blunder. Support arrives quickly for GB and Short passes it to Luffman. MISS PASS FROM LUFFMAN! FARNSWORTH RECEIEVES THE BALL AND HAS CLATTERED THROUGH KIRIKIRI! HE HAS HANDED OFF BOTS AND THAT IS A TRY UNDER THE POSTS FOR GREAT BRITAIN! Graham gets the kick and the score is now 26-0 to GB. DRP Taylor and the NZ players look in a bad way and they know they cannot come back from this. They don’t seem to be bothered about trying anymore. But they kick off nevertheless and SDR Laing goes up and takes it. They form a maul and the ref has called last play. Short simply takes the ball out the back and kicks it out. That is the game and GB has won 26-0. Convincing stuff. The Man of the Match Award goes to BOY Blunder for a fine game in attack and defense. J McDougal was also very close for good jumping, lineout skills and scrimmaging.
