Yeah but they aren't taking up most of the salary cap and we have slightly more balance amongst the roster compared to the Rabbitohs.
Those 5 don't include Jennings who's possibly our highest paid and does include McKendry who I'd imagine isn't on a motza.
Jennings, Petero, Lewis and Waterhouse would all be our highest paid. Grant and McKendry wouldn't have re-signed for a huge amount and did re-sign for at least 4 years each so there development doesn't really come into consideration for another few years.
Well Phil Gould did state that there are a number of players at the club on too much coin... it would not surprise me if Purtell is one of them.
I reckon Grant and McKendry would've signed back ended contracts for around 200k a year going up to about 250k towards the end, if not more.
Well I was comparing it to Burgess, Asotasi, Stuart, Inglis and Lowe. Stuart and Lowe wouldn't be on much either.
