I'm pretty sure there's a rule in the rulebook that states if Sir Nathan Hindmarsh throws I forward pass it shall be deemed play on because he is a legend.
I'm thinking the rule is closer to being: We'll let Nathan Hindmarsh get away with something every now and then to make up for all the crap he's put up with over the years at Parramatta and still sticking by them.

Yep. Turns close wins into close losses and massive losses into close losses. If he can somehow convince the NRL to change the points system in order to make close losses worth more than wins he'll be the game's best.
