Shit list, how can you have Fittler so low after what he has done for the Roosters team, and say he is unproven, yet have Jason Taylor so high? Or John Cartwright?

Well, from what I know, he's a shocking coach. He and Royce simmonds are hopeless. They are constantly doing defensive work and what have they achieved? The second or third worst defense in the NRL with a competent pack. Sheens 05 was a fluke. We just hit a run of such hot form in was incredible. We could really do no wrong, everything just clicked. As far as recruitment goes, I'm just shocked. How can you not, after 4 years sign a half decent half-back or sign a prop who will provide good go forward. Don't get me started on selections, Morris @ 1/2 or 5/8, Halatau and Payne making it each week... WTF?!? Then his habit to pick players, have them play blinders and then drop them when some deadshit comes back.
So his work with Penrith (who made their first appearance in the finals under him) Canberra (who won three premierships under him) and the turnaround he started at the Cowboys, as well as helping to turn Wests into premiership winners in 2 years mean nothing? He's won 3 Dally M medals for best coach as well.
From what I know and this is more for current coaches then on past merit. If it was on his past, coaching record etc I'd rank him higher. But if you assumed all the coaches hadn't coached a single match prior to say 06, you would have to rate him as horrible. Also, Canberra were so gun. Dailey, Stuart, Wiki, Meninga etc etc. And the Cowboys were sooner or later going to become gun anyway, they just went through the first through rough years of being owned by Brisbane.
